THE BRIEF

Dell EMC are one of the lead sponsors of the UK tour throughout 2018 to 2020 of Dippy the Dinosaur, the plaster cast replica of the fossilised bones of a Diplodocus skeleton, which used to greet all visitors in the entrance hall of the Natural History Museum, London.

To celebrate the ‘Dippy Tour’ and their involvement, Dell EMC wanted to brand various key areas of their head office to bring awareness to employees. The branding should not be permanent and only last the duration of the Tour until 2020.

OUR SOLUTION

After a site visit, 418 put together a set of proposals to brand high traffic and visual areas of the Dell EMC head office building.

The proposals included: elevator installs, doors and floor vinyls; pre-installed poster frames in stair wells, offices and restrooms; full drop graphics on office walls; medium and wide pull-up banners; and cut vinyl graphics on glass restroom privacy panels.

418 supervised the professional install of all the collateral and will assume responsibility of the de-installation after the Tour finishes in 2020.

THE RESULT

The branding has been a complete success and has been well received not only by employees, but also by customers and visitors which has resulted in heightened profiling of the Dell EMC brand.

Dell EMC are currently working with 418 to develop future branding and plans to maximise exposure for future sponsorship programmes.
