This year, 418 have again taken up their role in supporting the Dell Technologies Million Makers challenge team, in raising vital funds for The Prince’s Trust. This is officially our ninth year in supporting the teams each year, and altogether over the years, we’ve now raised over £2.1 million.

Million Makers is a national UK challenge set by The Prince’s Trust each year within business, where corporate teams of 10-15 employees are given seed funding of £1,500 to use towards fundraising events of their choice to raise as much as possible. Dell’s teams have predominantly won the challenge most years of their participation!

For this year’s team, Team Power, we’ve helped them with realising their logo, and the branding and marketing of a Halloween evening in October, raising over £5,000.

The pinnacle event each year is always a spectacular black tie evening gala dinner, for around 300 invited guests. This year’s event took place on 15th November in the fantastic Hintze Hall at the Natural History Museum in London. The theme Team Power decided upon was ‘Under the Sea’, so we went to town with our creative and marketing experience to brand the whole event. A good mixture of traditional printed material (evening programme, table cards and pull-up banners) were created, along with all the usual event-based digital pieces (emails, webpage and attendee registration, auction screen powerpoint, and digital backdrop displays).

It really was a fantastic and memorable event, with some truly unique auction items, raising just over an impressive £238,000, which will go towards supporting young people aged 11-30 across the UK to find and build their confidence, gain employment or start their own business; just some of the incredible things The Prince’s Trust does to improve the well being of young generations.

And it’s not over yet! The challenge runs until the end of February 2023 when all the totals are collated across the country and the national winners announced. The team have a few more things up their sleeve, starting with a Ride on Time 24 hour cycling/spinning challenge in January—we’ll keep you posted!

We have a wealth of knowledge in how to get the very best out of your charity event. Have something coming up? Give us a shout at to find out how we can help.
